Rob Burgess
In his role as Chief Executive Officer, Robert K. Burgess oversees Connector Inc.’s developing and diverse portfolio of political clients – including U.S. Presidential campaigns, numerous U.S. Congressional campaigns, and federal Super PACs. He is principally responsible for the cultivation of strategic agency partnerships and political business development worldwide. Additionally, his advocacy expertise encompasses various sectors, including cigars, energy, and healthcare.
In 2024, Rob served as Executive Director of Americans for Pharma Reform, leading the organization’s efforts to advance messaging on Big Pharma’s detrimental and predatory practices across the nation’s electoral battlegrounds, from Montana to Pennsylvania.
Rob served as chief strategist on Governor Asa Hutchinson’s Presidential campaign, where he quarterbacked the Governor’s advancement to the first debate stage in Milwaukee in August 2023. Before ascending to the role of Campaign Manager, Rob was senior advisor for communications and strategy to Hutchinson’s PAC, America Strong & Free PAC.
Prior to 2024, Rob worked for several prominent presidential campaigns, including Carly Fiorina’s 2016 campaign, John Kasich’s 2016 campaign, and Donald Trump’s 2016 and 2020 campaigns. He steered Bo Hines’ (R-N.C.) 2022 U.S. House campaign and was a senior advisor to Trey Hollingsworth’s (R-Ind.) 2016 U.S. House campaign, and has spearheaded numerous Republican campaigns at the state and local level.
Rob’s experience extends to Capitol Hill, where he served as Director of Communications in the offices of Hons. Trey Hollingsworth and Mike Garcia. He is considered an expert on Congressional mass communications (the Franking Privilege) as well as crisis management, media, and public relations. He has worked as an operative and spokesperson for some of the country’s most influential political and public policy organizations, and is a frequent commentator on national and international television and radio, and in print interviews, including CNN, POLITICO.
He and his wife, Greta, currently reside in Charlottesville, VA with their sons.
